Thank you for being such a wonderful part of an incredible week for us in Ireland. You made us feel so welcome and excited to arrive in the time leading up to our visit and we appreciate you staying up late to orient us after our late flight in. Foxmeadow is even more wonderful than we expected. Full of history, professionally modernized, and situated on a classic Ireland meadow. The fruit bowl on the table and milk in the fridge were both additional pleasant surprises.
Location, location, location!!! Foxmeadow was perfect for us. As first time visitors to Ireland, Adare is the perfect charming village to call home base. The Good Room café, 1826 restaurant, and even the markets for groceries were all perfect. From Adare we saw the most amazing and friendly country. Villages and natural beauty are our interests and we experienced so much; Dingle Peninsula, Kilarney National Park, Gap of Dunloe, Ring of Kerry, Ring of Skelligs, Cliffs of Moher, Burren, Galway, Connemara, Kinsale, Blarney, and even Dublin is within reach – all were memorable places to visit. We snapped beautiful memories in over 1000 photographs and will absolutely make plans to return to Foxmeadow Cottage.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your comfortable cottage. The views, the peacefulness, the convenience and the decor were all greatly appreciated. We came to attend our nephew’s wedding and could not have chosen a better place to rest. Ernie even got his first hole in one at the beautiful Adare Manor Golf Club. Thank you, we hope to return.

We had a fabulous stay. The cottage has been ideal for all our needs. Plenty of space with all the amenities and in an ideal spot to tour. Can recommend Waterford, Cork, Clare, especially the Burren. Locally there is loads to see and do. Please look out for “Basil” our pet fox. He’s not fussy what he eats but especially likes eggs. Hope to return and will highly recommend to our friends. It was a pleasure to stay here with special friends and to celebrate our son’s wedding and show them Irish hospitality at it’s best!

Nice, clean, quiet and homely. Saw a beautiful pheasant right outside the big doors! Chickens made me feel as though I was at home. Weather was nice. Country is lovely. The Bunratty Castle and folk park was awesome, lots of history. The banquet was outstanding! Blarney castle & gardens, King john’s castle all were great. Thank you for your hospitality.

This was an ideal place, with the marvelous view onto the fields with the hay stacks and horses riding by in the morning. It was an ideal starting point for trips north and south and with the sunny weather very enjoyable.
